Four exclusive cottages are nestled on a Private 125 acre Nature Preserve in the Talamanca Mountain Range. Each 510 square foot cottage features elegant finishes, a luxurious bathroom, compact designer kitchen, original contemporary fine art, and your own private gardens to enjoy the perfect highland weather where temperatures range from the 70s to low 80s. The grounds include over one kilometer of riverside along the majestic Chirripó River as well as primary rainforest with its exuberant flora & fauna.

Dine at Café Blue
Whether you enjoy a lovely meal catered at your Casita or opt to enjoy the terrace at Café Blue, the international menu will delight you with Costa Rican, Italian, American and Asian inspired dishes. Meals are prepared with fresh and organic (whenever possible) ingredients, and planned according to what is fresh, in season and locally available.
A fine selection of wines and spirits are available to enjoy in your casita or at Café Blue at La Lechería.
*Monte Azul is a completely smoke-free establishment, however, smokers may opt to visit “Tio Pepe’s Smoking Lounge” across the street. It is such a great place, even our non-smoking friends (and ourselves) enjoy the visit.

Bed and Breakfast:
$215 per night for 1 or 2 adults. Breakfast is included for 1 or 2 people.
Complete Meal Plan:
$321 per night for 2 people; includes 3 daily meals and non-alcoholic beverages.
